Located in a heritage bank building in downtown Vancouver, The Pacific Museum of the Earth is a real treat for everyone. It has three galleries illustrating the nature of minerals in layman's terms. One of its more interesting galleries is the Discovery Gallery, introducing people to rocks, minerals, ores, gems and crystals. The main gallery helps explain the role of minerals and how they play a role in our health and surroundings. The vault gallery is exactly as it what it says. It's the vault of treasure composed of gold, silver, platinum samples, gems, gem art, and mineral hoards. Enjoy the natural resources that our earth has to offer.
