Summer Riding Day Camp
Summer Riding Day Camp is a great way for children and teenagers to learn about and have fun with horses. In the Vancouver area, there are a good number of stables that offer English or Western riding lessons. No matter what discipline of riding your child pursues, English or Western, the Vancouver and surrounding stables listed here are sure to offer excellent horsemanship and riding skills. Virtually all of the riding camps also teach participants about horse care, safety, horse grooming and stable management. Some might focus on trail riding and others on some friendly competition. What a great way to learn responsibility and build a relationship with horses. For safety purposes, every participant must wear a helmet and proper boots while riding. As well as horseback riding, many of the summer camps offer other activities such as arts, crafts, games or swimming.
