It takes a long time to get good at what you do. 10,000 hours of practice is the magic number that accomplished chefs as well as composers, writers, artists, athletes (and even criminals) spent to achieve their success. That's the figure, from a study by psychologist Anders Ericsson that author Malcolm Gladwell popularized in his book, Outliers: The Story of Success.

We have been creating marketing and communications solutions for clients since Attila “Ots” Lovey founded DigiMedia in 1994. Ots is what you’d call our executive chef, the one who brings together all the ingredients to feed business clients with creative solutions.

Ots alone has put in more than 40,000 hours, based on a regular work week. But in our creative business there are not really regular weeks. Our team has worked long hours most days, and lots of weekends, because that’s often what it takes to make sure our clients get what they need, when they need it.

The solutions we’ve created in branding, web, creative services, print and digital media do speak for themselves, but we’re pleased that our clients have also said very nice things about them.
