Located in Burnaby, this four-hectare (10-acre) outdoor village museum was erected as a memorial to British Columbia’s centennial in 1958 and consists of 30 buildings and outdoor scenes includes a schoolhouse, a blacksmith's shop, a dentist's office and a real working theatre. It also features an operational ice cream parlour. However, the restored 1912 carousel remains the most popular attraction.
