Home to some of the world’s coolest and creepiest bugs, this bug zoo is located in Victoria, a 90-minute ferry ride from Vancouver. Bugs such as hairy tarantulas, Peruvian blue centipedes, Malaysian jungle nymphs, walking sticks, millipedes, white-eyed assassin bugs and mantids are featured here. Admission is 6$ for adults, 5$ for seniors/seniors, $4 for children age 3-16; free for children 2 and under. The gift shop offers books, models, toys and interesting delights such as bottled honey edible insect munchies.
