The British Columbia Centre of Excellence for Women's Health (BCCEWH) has been the centre of innovation and creativity in the effort to promote the health and well-being of women since 1996. The BCCEWH is located at the BC Women's Hospital & Health Care Centre in Vancouver. The Women's Health Centre has partnered up with local agencies, provincial initiatives, national organizations and international agencies to help with research and to exchange information and knowledge among members of the community, acedemic researchers, policy makers and health care professionals. The mission of the Women's Health centre is to help improve the health of women through research and by developing women centered programs, practices and policies.
