Thanks to Barclay Manor, the Barclay side of the West End park has maintained its original neighbourhood charm and scale. This Vancouver historical park created by the Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation, conserves the nine heritage houses that date back from the late 1890s. The Roedde House Museum, Vancouver’s first house museum and the Weeks House occupied by an organization that provides help and support to people with life-threatening illnesses called ‘Friend for Life’ can be found here.
